Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to ECU remapping, vehicle diagnostics, DPF, EGR, AdBlue and related services provided by KP Tuning. By booking or using our services you agree to these terms.

Services

KP Tuning provides mobile ECU remapping, diagnostics and emissions-related solutions. We give honest advice on what we can and cannot do. Quotes are based on the information you provide; we may need to reassess once we see the vehicle or read fault codes.

Vehicle condition and responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in a suitable condition for the work. We carry out a pre-tuning health check where appropriate and will not proceed with remapping if we consider the vehicle unfit. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, wear or damage that are unrelated to the work we carry out. Any work we do is in reliance on the accuracy of the information you provide about the vehicle and its history.

Booking and visits

Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We will agree a time and location (e.g. your home, workplace or workshop). You must ensure we have safe access and that the vehicle is available at the agreed time. Cancellations or changes should be communicated as soon as possible. We may charge or refuse future bookings if appointments are repeatedly missed or cancelled at short notice without good reason.

Payment

Payment terms will be agreed at or before the time of the visit. We may require payment in full or in part before or upon completion of work. Prices quoted may be subject to change if the scope of work changes after assessment.

Liability disclaimer

Our liability is limited to the work we actually perform. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or for any claim arising from pre-existing defects, misuse of the vehicle, or failure to maintain it after our work. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or where it would be unlawful to do so. If you have any concerns about your vehicle or the work, raise them with us before we start.

Emissions & Off-Road Use Disclaimer

Emissions-related services, including but not limited to DPF, EGR and AdBlue system modifications, are provided strictly for off-road, track, or export use only.

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that their vehicle complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the country in which the vehicle is used.

KP Tuning does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use of any vehicle on public roads where such modifications may not be permitted.

By requesting or proceeding with any emissions-related service, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

• They understand the legal implications of such modifications
• They accept full responsibility for the vehicle's compliance with road laws
• The vehicle will not be used on public roads where such modifications are prohibited

KP Tuning reserves the right to refuse any work where legality is in question.

No warranty is provided for emissions-related components or systems following modification.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of them is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on our website applies at the time of your booking or visit.
