When a warning light appears or something doesn't feel right, the first step is often to read the fault codes and understand what the car is reporting. KP Tuning offers mobile vehicle diagnostics and engine diagnostics across North Wales, Wrexham, Denbighshire, Chester, the Wirral, Shropshire, Manchester and surrounding areas. We provide fault code reading, ECU fault diagnosis and the same level of equipment you'd find at a main dealer — and we bring it to you. If your check engine light is on, we can help identify why.
We carry out fault code reading and clearing, live data checks and system scans. That helps identify issues with the engine, emissions systems, gearbox and other ECUs. Whether you need a one-off check before buying a car, or you're chasing an intermittent fault or a check engine light, we can help. Our mobile diagnostics are also used as part of our remapping and emissions work — for example, checking DPF or AdBlue-related faults before and after software solutions.
Our diagnostic kit gives us access to the same depth of data as a franchised workshop. That means we can see manufacturer-level codes and live data, not just generic OBD readings. For many drivers in areas like Rhyl, Prestatyn, Llangollen, Ruthin, Warrington, St Helens or Manchester, having that capability without travelling to a dealer is a real advantage. We come to your home, work or workshop.

Yes. We offer mobile diagnostics and come to your home, workplace or a workshop across North Wales, Wrexham, Chester, the Wirral, Shropshire and Manchester. We bring dealer-level equipment so we can carry out engine diagnostics and ECU fault diagnosis on site.
We can read the fault codes stored in your vehicle's ECU to see what triggered the check engine light. From there we can advise on the cause and whether it needs repair, clearing, or further investigation. Get in touch and we can arrange a visit.
