Location
Chester, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, Helsby, Runcorn and the villages.
We cover Chester and the surrounding area on a mobile basis, which in practice means driveways in the suburbs, office car parks at Chester Business Park, and workplaces out towards Ellesmere Port and Deeside. The city centre itself is harder, and we would rather say so than turn up and find nowhere to work.
One Chester commutes: the A55 west, the M53 north to the tunnels, the M56 east, the A483 down to Wrexham. Those cars get long steady runs and rarely have filter trouble, though high motorway mileage brings its own wear on turbos, EGR valves and sensors. The other Chester barely leaves the ring road: park and ride, the school run, short trips to the retail parks. That pattern is hard on a diesel and it is the one that produces most of the DPF complaints we hear from the city.
If you have been quoted for a part on the strength of one fault code, diagnostics is worth doing before you agree to it. If your car does a proper commute and you want it to sit easier at speed, Stage 1 is the usual answer. If it does short trips and has a DPF light, read the DPF page first, because the fix there is often free.
Chester and the villages around it including Christleton, Tarvin and Saughall, out to Ellesmere Port, Helsby, Frodsham and Runcorn, and across the border into Deeside, Queensferry and Connahs Quay. We are on the A483 towards Wrexham regularly. If your town is not named, check areas we cover or ask, and we will tell you straight whether we can reach you.
It depends entirely on the parking. Inside the walls and on the terraced streets it is often not practical, and we would rather be straight about that. Tell us the street when you get in touch and we will tell you whether it works.
Yes, both are normal coverage from Chester, along with Helsby, Frodsham, Runcorn, Queensferry and Connahs Quay.
