Wrexham is where we are based, which makes it the area we reach fastest and the one we know best. Everything we do is mobile, so we come to your house, your workplace or a unit on the Industrial Estate rather than asking you to drop a vehicle off and lose a day.
Two patterns dominate locally and they cause different problems. Short hops around the town and out to the Industrial Estate never get a diesel properly hot, which is the classic way to load up a particulate filter without realising. The other pattern is the A483 run north to Chester or south towards Oswestry, which is exactly the sustained driving that keeps a filter healthy. A lot of what we see around here comes down to which of those two your week actually looks like.
If a warning light has appeared, start with diagnostics, because the light tells you a circuit is unhappy and not what is wrong. If the car is healthy and you want more from it, Stage 1 is the usual route. If you are running a van or a pickup off the Industrial Estate, AdBlue and DPF problems are the ones that tend to arrive first.
Wrexham town and the Industrial Estate, Rhostyllen, Ruabon, Chirk, Gresford, Llay, Marchwiel, Coedpoeth and Brymbo, then out across Flintshire to Mold, Buckley, Flint, Shotton, Queensferry, Connahs Quay and Holywell. Chirk and Ruabon put us close to the Shropshire border, so Oswestry and Ellesmere are straightforward too. Yes, provided there is somewhere safe to park and work and we can road test afterwards. Working on site suits a lot of businesses better than losing a vehicle for half a day.
