Location
The coast, the inland towns and everything between.
North Wales is the region we work across rather than a single town, and it covers a lot of very different driving. We are based in Wrexham, so the eastern side is closest, and we travel west and along the coast regularly.
The coast road and the A55 give vehicles the sustained running that keeps a diesel healthy, so filter problems out that way are more often genuine faults than driving habits. Inland and up in the hills the story changes: loaded vehicles, sustained climbs and cold winters that put real work through heater circuits and towing gear. In the towns you get the short journey pattern that quietly loads a particulate filter over a couple of years. Which one applies to you is usually the first thing worth establishing.
For a warning light, diagnostics comes first regardless of where you are. For towing on hill roads, Stage 1 is the service that does the most useful work. For a diesel emissions light, it is worth reading the DPF page and thinking honestly about what your week of driving actually looks like, because the answer changes completely depending on it.
Wrexham and Flintshire including Mold, Buckley, Flint, Shotton, Connahs Quay and Holywell. Denbighshire including Ruthin, Denbigh, St Asaph, Llangollen and Corwen. The coast at Rhyl, Prestatyn, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Bangor, and inland towards Bala. If your town is not named, check areas we cover or ask, and we will tell you straight whether we can reach you.
Rhyl, Prestatyn, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Bangor are all within the area we cover. The further west you are the more it is worth agreeing a time rather than expecting same day, so get in touch and we will be straight with you.
Yes. Inland North Wales including Bala, Corwen, Llangollen and the villages through the Vale of Clwyd is normal coverage for us.
