In a county this size, taking a vehicle somewhere to find out what is wrong with it costs most of a day before anyone has fixed anything. We come to you with dealer level equipment, read the vehicle where it stands, and tell you what it is reporting.
The useful thing about reading a vehicle on site is that it separates the decisions. First, what is actually wrong. Then, and only then, what to do about it and where. We read across all the modules rather than pulling one code, look at live data and the freeze frame stored when the fault occurred, and tell you which codes are the cause and which are just consequences. If the honest answer is that it needs a dealer or a specialist, we will say so, and you will at least be making that drive for a reason.

We use dealer level equipment rather than a basic code reader, which means manufacturer specific codes across all the modules, not just the generic engine ones. Alongside the stored codes we look at live data and at the freeze frame the car saved at the moment the fault occurred, because that tells us the conditions it happened in. Then we explain what it means in plain terms and tell you whether it needs repair, further investigation, or simply clearing.
On a farm or a small business, the vehicle with the fault is usually the one that has work booked in the morning. Reading it on the yard rather than sending it away is the difference between a delay and a proper problem. If a vehicle is off the road entirely, say so when you get in touch, because it changes what we bring and whether we can do anything useful on the first visit.
